What is CIREC?

In 1976, CIREC was founded. It is a private, non-profit, organization dedicated to the provision of medical services in orthopedics and rehabilitation. As such, it is focused on the research, design, production and supply of orthopedic elements and on the development of promotional, educational, preventive and awareness-raising activities.

Thanks to the support of organizations, companies and people with a high sense of social responsibility, CIREC now has the adequate infrastructure, high technology equipment, specialized services and programs that allow it to attend to Colombia's population. High accident rates, hereditary problems and violence result in a Colombian population with a high rate of disability that is augmenting every day.

CIREC is now a vanguard of the newest technologies, which has led it to be recognized at national and international levels in its different areas of work.

From its beginnings, CIREC has focused all its efforts in the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in the country and specifically children, for which specialized programs exist that secure not only their physical and emotional rehabilitation, but that also favors their integration into school so that they may improve their quality of life and the quality of life of their families.
