History

The Colombian Centre for Integrated Rehabilitation (CIREC) was founded in 1976, as a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the provision of medical services such as orthopedics and physical rehabilitation, research, design, the production and provision of orthopedic devices, and the development of educational, preventive, and awareness-raising activities.

Support from organizations, companies and persons with a sense of social responsibility has allowed CIREC to become a rehabilitation center with high technology equipment, specialized services and programs that attend to Colombia’s population. High accident rates, hereditary problems and violence result in a Colombian population with a high rate of disability, and it is augmenting every day.

CIREC is now a vanguard of the newest technologies, which has led it to be recognized at the national and international level in its different areas of work.
